Getting Started

Welcome to the shore, master. You land with a name, a purse, and not much else. This page covers the first sixty minutes — enough to plant a flag, hire your first hand, and not get jumped by the next one off the boat.

What is Slves?

Slves is an open-world pixel-art MMO. You play a slaver on a shore where every other player wants the same dirt you do. You buy and train slaves, build a farm, dig stone and iron, fight in the deadzone, and try to leave the season worth more than you arrived with. Every coin you earn settles in $SLVE on Solana when you cash out.

Your first hour

  1. Step 01
    Sign in

Use Discord, X, or your wallet on the landing page. That gets you a master account that follows you across sessions.

  2. Step 02
    Pick a name

Your first time in the world you'll be asked to name yourself. You can rename later by re-running the tutorial.

  3. Step 03
    Visit the market barn

It's the big red building in the centre of the map. Walk into it. The auction house opens — every slave, seed, sack and lump of iron there was listed by another master.

  4. Step 04
    Buy a wretch

Wretches are the cheapest class. They're slow and a little dim but they'll work a hoe or chop a tree all day. Spend your first coin on one.

  5. Step 05
    Stake a corner

Press B to open the build menu. Drop a Crop Patch + a Silo somewhere off the main path. The silo's circle marks the radius your auto-farmers reach.

  6. Step 06
    Set them to work

Click your slave, assign them to the silo. Give them seeds and they'll plant, water, harvest, deposit on a loop while you do other things.

Read the HUD

  • Top-left — your name, fame, cruel, coins, owned slave count, ping.
  • Bottom-centre bars — HP (red), Stamina (sky), Rage (orange). Rage builds when you slap your own slaves, and every point of rage adds 9% damage to your next swing.
  • Action bar — 4 hotkey slots for tools. Drag from your inventory to bind them.
  • Runaways pill — a red chip appears above the bars whenever wild slaves are loose in the deadzone. See Deadzone & runaways.
